Source: Federation Council may cancel extraordinary meeting

MOSCOW, Jul 13 (PRIME) -- The Federation Council, parliament's supreme chamber, will most probably not convene for an extraordinary meeting, and in this case, the bills to be passed on Friday by the State Duma will be sent to the president directly, a parliament source told PRIME on Wednesday.

"With a high degree of probability, the Federation Council will not convene," the source said.

The State Duma, parliament's lower chamber, plans to conduct a third and final reading of several bills at an extraordinary session on Friday, the official said.
